Got my lip spoiler installed on the 6 on this rainy Kentucky day.
Drilling into the trunk about made me vomit, but the spoiler does look good.

Is there not some kind of high-bonding paint-safe adhesive that would work in this application in lieu of drilling? I suppose not with actual season and wind, etc. ...

Man, a shame you drilled through the trunk, I'm sure there's some sort of adhesive thing you could have used...

Looks great! Adds some subtle sportiness to the rear. I like it a lot!

Wind would rip off any adhesive eventually.

Not if I wanted the spoiler to stay secure. There is no adhesive that can handle highway speed wind for hours on end.

The thought of you drilling into your own car does make for a fanatic black-and-white film documenting your existential crisis though!

Went with Raybestos high performance pads and rotors after my disaster of an experience with Centrics. So far, so good.

Yeah...I hated drilling into the trunk but if I wanted the spoiler to stay in place for my ownership of the car, it was a necessity. Ordering one from the Mazda Genuine Accessories catalog and having the dealer install it would’ve resulted in the same thing.
